The power of Guru flows in the disciple through the mantra. The ‘mantra’ by which the Guru initiates, is chanted by him for a long period of time. The power of the mantra is absorbed by him. No difference is left between the Guru and the mantra. The entire body of the Guru becomes like a mantra. When Guru gives initiation by such a conscious mantra, it gives salvation.
